That is looking like the plan (hosting the demo, anyway). From what I've heard 
the developer is pretty difficult, if not impossible, to contact.
There was no license included in the installer or game, so I'm going to presume 
its safe to distribute the demo version, as we've done with other developers.
Unfortunately I don't have a terribly large amount of time at the moment, but 
will work on getting this (and several other submissions) added to the archive 
in the next week and a half or so.
Digging this out of the internet archive was some seriously inspired work, so 
my congratulations to the OP.

As I  remember the game was commercial, you could only play the first few turns 
in demo mode and needed a license to unlock the rest, so you could probably 
include the demo version at the least and maybe we could contact Mardy software 
about making the thing abandonware if it's not being worked on anymore.
