Anyone know where I can get the game Mississippi?
The site I used to get it from, that of Mar-dy, has been gone for some time,
the audiogames link for it is broken, and it’s not even on AGArchive.
Not sure what made me think of this all of a sudden, but I used to love playing
that. Yes, I could generally beat it pretty quickly, but it was a good concept
and it was definitely good for the imagination.
Thinking about it, the last thing I heard of it must have been during or before
2014, because I lost the installer in the hard drive crash I had back then.
They must have closed about that time, because the last I remember I had
emailed for a new key and heard nothing back.
It’s disheartening when you see all these games disappear when you’ve
legitimately paid for them. First VIPGamesZone (Bye bye registration server),
now this (which, perhaps even more tantalysingly, is actually possible to
register but impossible to get any new keys for subsequent machines). Having
said that, I did have a knack for beating it in the four year window it gives
you, so I suppose that’s something.
