Actually interactive fiction interpreters tend to be very well maintained
and exist for all modern platforms, Macand Ios as well as Windows, so you
should have no problem playing if games in formats like zcode and tads on a
modern machine, actually there's a pretty cool Nvda addon that reads text
output in many if interpreters very well that I tried recently.
