Hi, Also the next time you run Internet Explorer it will nag you and say it is not the default browser. There should be a checkbox there if you tab around where you can tell IE not to perform this check when it starts.

In options go to advanced and tab down to system defaults and mark the box that says ' always check to see if firefox is the default browser' Then tab over to 'check now'. You will either get a message window saying it already is your default browser or a dialog to ask you if you would like to make it your default. chrissy -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of ROSEMARIE CHAVARRIA Sent: Thursday, November 19, 2009 7:26 AM To: [email protected] Subject: [Blind-Computing] making firefox the default browser Hi, everyone, I just downloaded firefox and will be using it with NVDA so I want to make it my default browser. I've been having a lot of problems with internet explorer. How do I make firefox the default browser? Any help would be very much appreciated. Many thanks in advance.
