Inside firefox go to tools, then options. In options go to advanced and tab down to system defaults and mark the box that says ' always check to see if firefox is the default browser' Then tab over to 'check now'. You will either get a message window saying it already is your default browser or a dialog to ask you if you would like to make it your default. chrissy
