Not sure if booksplit would be of too much use to you since I never seem to
be able to get it to actually split into the lengths it says it should, and
you'd first have to convert the file into MP3 in any case using something
like switch.
However, audacity could quite easily import the whole file, and then you can
use the selection part of it's interface to specify specific time intervals,
and then on the file menu, there's an option to export selection, and this
then standardly gets saved as a wav file, so you could do something like
select the first half of it, save that, and then select the second half and
save that separately.
