Actually a good idea, I just added that one to my rules.
But I do believe we should keep the rules lean. That makes it easier for new 
users to understand them when they have a first glance at the exclude tab. 
Additionally backintime's behaviour is kept transparent, it just backs up 
everything except files which aren't wanted (trash) or which can be 
recalculated (cache)

Bug description:
when a folder that contain hidden files and sub folders for example (/home) the 
hidden files and sub folders are not backed up
the more important files are generally hidden
