Official Counter: Hugh Kent
Observers: Daniel Lee, Ian Woodfield, Liz Kent, Mike Jaber,
Noel Herdman, Paul Gosselin
Visitors:
Thanks to Liz, Noel, Mike, Paul, Daniel and Ian for help on the Tower. We
had about 20 visitors who showed an interest in the Count and it was good
to see Lizzi and Jason again.
Weather:
Clear skies initially, pleasant 16 deg, rising to 27 mid afternoon,
becoming progressively cloudier. Light to moderate wind from the NE, veers
to SE in afternoon
Raptor Observations:
Good start, with 25 Broad-winged Hawks. Mostly high to the north east.
Non-raptor Observations:
Good varied list of 61 species. Morning flyover of 14 Bobolink, probably an
underestimate. List at https://ebird.org/checklist/S270961727
Predictions:
Hopefully similar to today, but wind is predicted from the SE.
