Observation start time: 07:00:00
Observation end time: 16:00:00
Total observation time: 9 hours

Official Counter: Nicole Shangi

Observers: Bob Hall-Brooks, Chuck Sharbaugh, Hugh Kent, Liz Kent

Visitors:
We thank Bob, Chuck and Clay for their observations today as well as all
the other members of the public.

Weather:
The first half of the day was overcast, cool and windy. A strong north wind
all day. The latter half of the day cleared up and warmed nicely.

Raptor Observations:
We saw many raptors today including a large number of American Kestrels and
the first kettles of Broad-winged Hawks! Plenty of migrating Bald Eagles
and Northern Harriers too.

Non-raptor Observations:
We had our hands full much of the day identifying raptors, however we had a
treat of two Sandhill Cranes and Black-throated Green Warbler!

See non-raptor list here: https://ebird.org/checklist/S118238980

Predictions:
Tomorrows weather seems clear and warm. Hopefully the strong north wind
keeps up and we will see more raptors tomorrow. Crossing our fingers for
more Broad-wing kettles!
