Observation start time: 07:00:00
Observation end time: 16:00:00
Total observation time: 9 hours

Official Counter: Nicole Shangi

Observers: Cartwright, Cindy , Hugh Kent, Liz Kent

Visitors:
We thank all our visitors today including Chip, Donny and many other keen
members of the public!

Weather:
The weather was very hazy for about half the day and visibility was poor
all day. The cooler weather was a nice break from the heat and a strong
north wind brought in some raptors overhead.

Raptor Observations:
Migrating raptors today were mostly falcons with a handful of Bald Eagles
and some Broad-winged Hawks. A couple Merlins were definitely a highlight.

Non-raptor Observations:
There were not as many active birds as last week, however we did see three
Eastern Bluebirds at the end of the day and a Whimbrel!
See here: https://ebird.org/checklist/S118177642

Predictions:
We are hoping that today's north wind continues tomorrow and that the
warmer sunnier weather brings some more migrants!
