Visitors:
Many visitors on the tower today to wind up the Festival weekend. Thanks
to all who attended, and to those who helped make the Festival a success!

Weather:
A beautiful cool fall morning. Sunny skies and a start temp of 11.5C,
ending the day with 23C. Winds in the morning were NNE but around 11am
began shifting and ended up as SE. A nearly cloudless sky made for some
very high birds early in the day.

Raptor Observations:
10 species of Raptors overall today. We have large numbers of anything
today, unlike yesterday's Broad-winged Hawk count.

Non-raptor Observations:
Blue Jays started the day strong with a constant stream over the marsh
22,890 total. Monarchs were also on the move, especially later in the
afternoon once the winds died down, and the temperatures warmend. Various
other song birds were counted, see the eBird link below.

Predictions:
Mostly cloudy with slight chance of rain. Winds will be ESE in the
morning, changing to SSE later.
