Today we saw 37 juvenile Baird's Sandpipers at Owen Point in Presqu'ile
Provincial Park on Lake Ontario. The highest count for Presqu'ile on eBird
is 31 on 23 August 1995. Juvenile Baird's Sandpipers should be found in most
flocks of peep sandpipers seen this weekend in southern Ontario.

Directions: Presqu'ile Provincial Park is just south of the town of
Brighton. Exit Highway 401 at Brighton and follow the signs to the park.
Entry fee. There's a map in the tabloid paper available at the Park
entrance. Follow trail about 1 km to the tip of Owen Point which has lots of
algae on the shoreline.
