Birders:

The Snowy Egret found and reported by Steve Charbonneau earlier today,
continued to be seen throughout the afternoon to at least 5 p.m. There are a
number of shorebirds present as well, including Red Knot.

To get to the Keith McLean Conservation area, follow Chatham-Kent Rd 15 south
from Talbot Trail/Chatham-Kent Rd 3, towards Rondeau Prov Park. At about a
kilometre north of the turn into the park, you will see the KMCA on the left,
where there is a small parking lot. Follow the signs for the walking trail for
several hundred metres to where the trail crosses the creek. The mowed grassy
area immediately across the creek was the best viewing point to see the Snowy.
