On Saturday 2017-10-08 some significant and interesting water birds were observed in Georgina on Lake Drive East late morning (10:45 to 11:20 a.m.). Pacific Loons (2) in breeding plumage with Common loons in the area at Woodbine Ave., Great Black-backed gull (1) west of Willow Beach (Kennedy Rd.) and two Black ducks at Jackson’s Point west.

Over 200 Bonapartes gulls, and many cormorants and Canada geese moving along the Lake Simcoe shore, east to west all morning were of interest.
