Today, 8 Cattle Egrets were present at 10:30 a.m. and again at 1:30
p.m. on our way to and from hawk watching at Holiday Beach.
They were foraging along the small stream and in the pasture with the
large round hay bales on the east side of the road across from the
cattle farm where they are normally found hanging around the cows.
The cattle farm is at # 6862 on Cty Rd 50, south of Malden Centre [Cty
Rd 20] southeast of Amherstburg.
