Weather: Light to moderate South component winds today, along with rain threats all day seemed to make the raptors stay-put for the most part today. Raptor Observations: This slow day was made up mostly by the 9 Red-tailed Hawks that all were slowly making their way along the North shore of the marsh. Non-raptor Observations: Dabbling duck numbers remain high, with Mallard and Gadwall remaining the most numerous. For the full eBird checklist, go to http://ebird.org/ebird/view/checklist/S32438080 Predictions: Moderate N-NW winds and partially cloudy skies! Hopefully it will be a good day! ======================================================================== Report submitted by Sean Jenniskens ([email protected]) Holiday Beach Conservation Area information may be found at: http://hbmo.ca/ _______________________________________________ ONTBIRDS is presented by the Ontario Field Ornithologists (OFO) - the provincial birding organization.
