Mixed flocks of Black-bellied Plovers, Ruddy Turnstones, Dunlin, Short-billed Dowitchers, peeps, pouring into Hillman Marsh Shorebird Cell. Conservatively 1500 Black-bellied Plovers, 42 Ruddy Turnstones, 20 Short-billed Dowitchers, but no dark morph Ruff. Situation changing constantly as some birds flew west in direction of farm fields bordering Mersea 1.
