On Sunday I saw a noisy merlin in the Giant Tiger parking lot in Acton. It was
flying from the very large deciduous tree along the north fence line of the
parking lot over to the top of the 40-foot norway spruce along the west (back)
fence line behind the big yellow storage container. There is another very large
spruce next to the deciduous tree and there was some fussing there too. I
couldn't stay to watch but I suspect it might be nesting in the spruce on the
back fence line.

Giant Tiger is on Main Street (Hwy 25).

There are also a lot of chimney swifts that have come back to Acton (they are
there every year) flying around the downtown.

Cheers,

Jennifer
