The Inaugural Sandbanks Christmas Bird count December 22 2015
29 dedicated  individuals set out look in every corner of this underbirded area
Weather was cloudy with extensive periods of drizzle and rain with a high of 
12cel
With the non winter conditions all the bodies of water were wide open.
Preliminary results

76 species (11045 individuals) + 3 count week species (Double-crested 
Cormorant, Barred Owl and Belted Kingfisher) High counts .. .everything!!  
Since it is a new count.
Low counts. Raptors due to weather. Snow Buntings, Horned Larks and winter 
finches were lower than what are here most winters
