Hi all. Owen Strickland has just texted me to say he is currently (6:07 pm) watching a singing sedge wren at Tommy Thompson Park. The bird is at Pipit Point which is the farthest south point on the east shore of the park.
Tommy Thompson Park (or the Leslie St Spit is located at the foot of Leslie street in the east end of Toronto. Take the DVP south to the end or take the Gardener east to the end to lakeshore blvd. go eastbound on Lakeshore Blvd to Leslie St and turn right. Follow to the end. Tommy Thompson Park is open on weekends and holidays. It is open on weekdays after 4:30pm.
