Hi everyone

Spent part of the day birding Presqu'ile Provincial Park. Despite the early
morning heavy rain the birding, both shorebirds and warblers was great. Along
the beaches there was a nice fall out of shorebirds including 2 Whimbrel, 1
Long-billed Dowitcher, both American Golden Plover and Black-bellied Plover
along with 4 White-rumped Sandpipers, 2 Ruddy Turnstones, and small numbers of
Sanderling, Semipalmated Sandpiper, Least Sandpiper and 48 Semipalmated Plover.
There was a nice concentration of warblers at the Lighthouse, 21 species ,
including Wilson’s, Blackpoll, Blackburnian, Tennessee to name a few. Other
birds of note included 45 Redhead, 2 Northern Harrier, 1 Merlin and 9 American
Pipit.

Good birding,

Bruce
