As of about 6:00 pm, Aug. 30, there were 3 Buff-breasted Sandpipers on
Beach 3 at Presqu'ile.
The 3 birds were in some small and low beach vegetation near the water.
They were not feeding with the other sandpipers and plovers on the algae
mats.

On the algae mats there were; many Sanderlings, Semipalmated Plover and
Least Sandpipers. I had also seen 4 (or possibly more) White-winged
Scoters off towards Owen Point, near that time.

Beach 3's gate is always closed, so parking at the Owen Point or Beach 2
lots wouldn't add too much more time on to a walk.
