In response to several requests from out of town birders I will update the current status of this bird. Attached you will find the sightings to date. June 2. Early afternoon to early evening at Carp June 3 first light to 6am at Carp June7 afternoon at Kanata June 8 Bridlewood Kanata and Palladium Drive Kanata until mid afternoon June 17 late afternoon at Manotick June 24 early am until mid afternoon Andrew Haydon Park Nepean. And later for a brief time at Britannia Ottawa. As can be seen this bird wanders widely and is often not seen for many days in a row. Anyone considering chasing this bird from Southern Ontario would be best advised to leave early any day the bird is found at first light as the bird does not seem to visit the same location two days in a row. Hope this helps Mike
