New Years Day, while birding Haldimand County/Lake Erie shoreline my husband and I were surprised to find 7 Sandhill Cranes in a corn field at the junction of River Road, Meadows Road and Yaremy Road south of Cayuga in Haldimand County. The cranes were best viewed from Meadows Road. (42.911838, -79.772382)
