Today, around 12:30pm, my daughter Tamara and I found a female Ruddy Duck at
Moore Falls. The bird was with a female Hooded Merganser, on the south side of
Hwy 35, about 100m along the E shore. There was also a female Wood Duck at
this location (upstream of the bridge though) on December 29, but we could not
re-locate it today.

Moore Falls is located on Hwy 35, S of Minden. The bird is best viewed from
the highway, but the shoulder is narrow and the road can be busy so please be
careful viewing.

Cheers,
