One photographer, a couple out for a walk, and a hunter with his two sons came up the tower briefly. Weather: Light rain to start for the first two hours, cloudy with occasional sunny periods. Winds out to the SE 5-10 km/h.Temperatures ranged from 3.9 to 9 degrees Celsius. Raptor Observations: Adult Bald Eagle, 3 young Golden Eagles, 26 Re4d-Tailed Hawks, two Red-shouldered Hawk, one Sharp-shinned Hawk, 9 Northern Harriers and three Turkey Vultures. Three resident young Bald Eagles were seen frequently in the ice in the Marsh, also a Red-tailed Hawk feeding on a duck that when frightened off by a photographer was replaced by a Northern Harrier on the same carcass.
