--- Begin Message --- Today between 4:30 and 5:20 pm I found two clusters of feeding gulls and Jaegers about 250+ m off the mouth of the Credit River. With my 30x scope I was able to only identify only one Pomerine and two Parasitic but at times there up to 8 jaegers visible in the one cluster among the larger gulls which I assume were mostly Ring-billed and Herring. The other cluster, which was further west, consisted of about 30 to 40 smaller gulls and at least three of which were juvenile Sabines and two or three jaerger. I have not seen this kind of concentration of jaegers in this area although as everyone knows they not uncommon at the Lakeland Center in Hamilton.

Direction: Park behind the Snug Harbour Restaurant which south of Lakeshore at the end of Stavebank at the mouth of the Credit River. Alternatively, park at Saddington Park parking lot which is south of Lakeshore and south of Mississauga Road.
