Apparently we now have Parks Canada shilling for a private, for profit author.
What next?

Subject: [Ontbirds] David Allen Sibley Hikes at Point Pelee National Park

Hello everyone!

I'm sure some people are starting to think of spring - especially after the
roller coaster of weather we've had over the last couple of weeks.

I wanted to remind everyone that David Allen Sibley will be at Point Pelee's
Festival of Birds on May 3 & 4. In addition to book signings and a live art
demonstration, he will be giving a talk entitled "The Art of Identification"
and leading birding hikes.

Tickets for the Birding Hikes with David Sibley go on sale, Friday, January 17
at 10 am. Call the Friends of Point Pelee to reserve your spot at
519-326-6173 or 1-888-707-3533. Orders for the hikes will be taken by
phone only, with a limit of 2 spots per caller. Here are the details:

Birding Hike with David Sibley
May 3 & 4, 7:30 am (meet at the Visitor Centre) Limit of 15 participants/hike,
cost $100

Tickets for the presentation are also available, please visit
www.festivalofbirds.ca for more informaiton on the Sibley programs and the
other events at the Festival of Birds 2014.

Hope to see you there and in the mean time, good birding everyone!

Sarah
