Considering the event is being put on by The Friends of Pt. Pelee I
would suspect the money is not going to Mr. Sibley but to help
support the programs at Pt. Pelee.

The Friends of Point Pelee is a co-operating association formed to
support research, education and ecological integrity preservation in
and around Point Pelee National Park. The Friends operate a number of
visitor services inside the park, such as the Nature Nook Gift Store
(located in the Visitor Centre), visitor services and canoe rentals
(at the Marsh Boardwalk) and shuttle to the Tip.
Proceeds from sales and services support our operations as well as
Point Pelee National Park initiatives.
