Thanks to a tip from a Durham birder, we spotted one Lapland Longspur within a flock of 50+ Horned Larks in a recently manured field on the east side of Courtice Road, north of Bloor Street (22) and south of Hwy 2. The farmhouse to the north is 911 number 2433. Courtice Road intersects Hwy 401 east of Oshawa. Proceed north on Courtice.
