Between 1250 and 1600 Monday Nov 4 a male Harlequin Duck was seen several
times. He moved, always with Buffleheads, from the eastern edge of Col.
Samuel Smith Park to about halfway down Rotary Park- the final viewing..
That is only a few hundred metres east.

Very easy to navigate between the two parks, with another- 12th St.
Parkette in between, along Lakeshore Dr. which meets the southeast entrance
to the park.

Also saw an adult male Snow Bunting at Whimbrel Point in Col. Sam's 1430
Nov 4. Whimbrel Pt. is a lakeside point on the spit at Sam's. It's the one
with what looks like a telephone pole on the highest part of the point.
