Weather: A mostly cloudy day with temperatures between 9 - 18C. There were light south-easterly winds all day. Raptor Observations: No migration of raptors in the first 2 hours, and then only a total of 51 birds in the next 4 hours, 43 of which were TV's. As I said before, SE winds are migration killers. Non-raptor Observations: Almost no passerines were migrating either. Only 228 Blue Jays; 3 Crows; 49 Starlings; and 776 Red-winged Blackbirds with minor numbers of other species. Predictions: A mostly cloudy day is forecasted with a slight chance of rain in the a.m. It will be warm with temperatures of 14-18C.
