There was a Northern Shrike north of St. Rose late this morning. It flew from a cornfield to the forest edge along Concession 16 and was on the move.
There were also a few thousand Greater Snow Geese on the sod farm along Lafleche Rd east of Casselman. The birds were in the northwest field. Brian Morin Directions: St. Rose is east of Casselman. From St. Rose head north to Concession 16. The bird was about 100 metres east. Snow Geese- From Hwy 417 take the exit for Hwy 138 and head south.
