Today after 430 we had good close looks at all three species of Jaegers,
juvenile and adult of parasitic and an adult long tail. A big bold juvenile
pomarine flew in a flock of 4 parasitics to give good comparison. At about 625
a lovely Sabines Gull came within range of the wave tower and gave gripping
views as it went west to east,

No promises but tomorrows forecast is for east winds so conditions are ripe.
Afternoons are always best for viewing and lighting.

Directions to Van Wagners Beach: Take the Centennial Parkway (Hwy.20) exit
from the QEW in east Hamilton and proceed north to the North Service Rd.,
turn left and continue west as it turns into Van Wagners Beach Road.
Continue to the parking lots at either Hutch's Restaurant or the Lakeland
Centre viewing tower and view the lake anywhere near here.

Cheers,
Cheryl
