Tim McCarthy and I spent over 2 hours searching for the sparrow and
finally found it feeding under or near the bird feeders at the front
of the house just east of 6547 Ellis Road (this latter address is
where it apparently has been seen in recent day or weeks). As per
previous report this sparrow is very very secretive. So here patience
is a virtue.
Directions:
From Toronto or Mississauga take #401 west past Hwy. 6 to Exit 33;
turn north and turn east (right) on Ellis Road. The farm house is a
short distance along this road on the south side.
