Hello, everyone - after an unsuccessful attempt to see this bird yesterday
afternoon, I had good luck this morning (Jan. 11). A little distant for binocs,
but good views with a scope. It was moving around a little, calling sometimes,
but mostly sitting pretty still near the top of a tall deciduous tree on the
east side of the ravine on the east side of the road.

Directions: Exit Highway 401 at Newtonville Road (Exit 448) and drive north on
Newtonville Road to Ganaraska Road, turn right (east) on Ganaraska Road, then
drive about 1 1/4 km to Langstaff Road, turn left (north) and drive up past
Thertell Road to #8712.
Coming from the east, Langstaff Road is west of Elizabethville (on Ganaraska
Road, aka County Road 9); it is the second road west of Cold Springs Camp Road
(the road that leads to the Ganaraska Forest Centre).

Good luck,
John
