Tonight I observed one American Avocet in non-breeding plumage at the NW area of Hillman Marsh. It is possible that this is the same one that was seen for about a week at the beginning of this month. I believe duck hunting starts tomorrow so I suggest to take caution and find out what times are safe for walking. Happy birding everyone.
