Hello!

This morning from 8:15 a.m. till noon the COMMON TEAL was still present in with
a group of GREEN WINGED TEALS and could
be viewed from the benches right where the path in from the parking lot arrives
at the shorebird cell.

Other birds I had this morning include: NORTHERN PINTAIL, RUDDY DUCK,
RING-NECKED DUCK, BUFFLEHEAD, AMERICAN COOT,
NORTHERN SHOVELER, GREATER SCAUP, GREATER YELLOWLEGS, PECTORAL SANDPIPER,
KILLDEER, AMERICAN GOLDEN-PLOVER, GADWALL,
GREAT BLUE HERON, BLUE-WINGED TEAL, CANADA GOOSE, MUTE SWAN, MALLARD, GREAT
EGRET, NORTHERN HARRIER, TREE SWALLOW,
NORTHERN ROUGH-WINGED SWALLOW, BARN SWALLOW, TURKEY VULTURE. I also noted that
the female Red-winged Blackbirds are
arriving.

Another birding party saw one DUNLIN.

I did not hear the Northern Bobwhite today.
