I sat for 10 minutes with a group of photographers at 12:30 PM today on Carling
Avenue looking at what I thnk was a Kriders. It was vey light especially
around the head where the whitish throat went all the way up side of the face.
Also a white eyebrow. The top and back of the head were light and streaked
with a little bit of darker colour on the top of the head. Base of bill was
yellow with dark at the tip. Feet were yellow. Front was almost all white
except for a few strong streaks at sides of belly going towards the center. It
looked very much like the field guides.

Birds was seen on North edge of Carling Ave west of Moodie (take the Moodie
exit north from 417 hwy) Go to the first large bend in the road (less than 1/2
KM) where the green field onthe south side is which is part of the old Nortel.
It sat on the fence and on the wires with photographers less trhan 10 feet away.

Can someone confirm it is a Kriders or can immature Red Tails look the same

Cheers

Iain
