In addition to the already reported sightings for the Niagara area today, I
saw the following:

California Gull - 1 adult at Adam Beck. Also 1 Thayer's and 2 Iceland Gulls
here.

Parasitic Jaeger - 1 dark juvenile chasing Bonaparte's Gulls at
Niagara-on-the-Lake. Further to Tyler Hoar's post, I ended up with a count
of over 1200 Red-throated Loons from around 8 to 10 am at
Niagara-on-the-Lake. Birds were constantly streaming by, with some
migrating Loons always in sight.

To supplement Luc Fazio's Black Vulture sighting, I also saw all 3 circling
over the Queenston docks at 11 am.

Good Birding,

Directions (from previous posts):
*Niagara-on-the-Lake*
>From the QEW, travel east towards Niagara. Take the 38B Glendale/Regional
Road 89 exit, and turn right on Taylor Road. Head west, parallel to the
highway, until Taylor Road turns right and crosses the highway. At this
point it is called Niagara Stone Road. Follow Niagara Stone Road into
Niagara-on-the-lake. At this point, the road will now be known as
Mississauga Street. Turn right on Queen St, and then the third left onto
Victoria Street. Turn right onto Front Street and the Queen's Royal Park
will be on the left. This spot has a pretty good view of the river mouth.

*Adam Beck Overlook*
Adam Beck overlook is on the south side of the OntarioHydro power plant and
directly across from the NY Robert Moses Power Plant, accessed from River
Road (also known as the Niagara Parkway), just to the south of Queenston.

*Queenston*
>From the Niagara bound QEW, exit Stanley Avenue. Turn left and at the
stop/yield sign, turn right onto Portage Road. Drive along Portage Road
until the traffic circle at Queenston Heights and head down the escarpment
on the Niagara Parkway. Once below the escarpment, continue along the
parkway and turn right onto Dumfries Street. Cross Princess Street to enter
the parking area for the Queenston boat ramp parking lot.
