Official Counter: Stephen Kolbe

Observers: Claude Radley

Visitors:
Two visitors braved the wind and rain today.

Weather:
Very rainy early this morning, with eventual clearing in the afternoon.
Strong winds once the rain stopped out of the east, but they quieted down
and shifted to the south. Temperatures near 20 degrees C.

Raptor Observations:
A few raptors moved after the rain, but overall a very quiet day of
migration. An adult Peregrine Falcon flew low directly over the tower, and
a male Merlin was seen blasting by over the marsh after passerine prey.

Non-raptor Observations:
Saw my first Ruby-crowned Kinglet of the fall today mixed in with the
warbler flock around the tower.
