Evening birders

While out on the boat we met Michael Malone from Pelee Wings.
Michael told us there was a white pelican near cormorant/gull island
in Rondeau Bay.

We went there and saw the pelican. It was hanging around with the mute swans.

It has the breeding centreboard and the dark cap of an immature.

The bird can not be seen from he shore but it is possible it could be
seen flying in the area.
