Hi all,
About 5:15 this evening I found a fine adult Glossy Ibis at Brander Park at
the south end of Port Lambton. It was at the edge of the field in a wet
spot with a few shorebirds.
I have photos which will be posted on the blog.
Directions:
Brander Park is at the south edge of the village of Port Lambton along the
St. Clair Parkway (Lambton Rd. 33). The bird was at the northeast section
of the park beside the woodlot.
From Highway 40 between Wallaceburg and Sarnia, find Lambton Rd. 1 (Lambton
Line) and head west to Port Lambton. Turn south at the river and go about
two km to Pointe Line. The east part of Brander Park is on your left. Turn
left on Pointe Line, then left into parking lot. Walk to north edge of open
area beside woodlot and look into the field.
