Good eve birders, In addition to Sarah's report, I had some birds later on in the day that didn't make it!
At about 5:00 PM the Sparrow Field was hoppin'. In addition to the common warblers for this time of year, there was an exceptionally early BLACKPOLL WARBLER as well as a BLUE-WINGED WARBLER. SCARLET TANAGERS also appeared in numbers. A couple of ROSE-BREASTED GROSBEAKS as well. I also had an INDIGO BUNTING at the Visitor Centre parking lot. Hopefully tomorrow's weather will be more cooperative! Cheers, Lev Frid _______________________________________________ ONTBIRDS is presented by the Ontario Field Ornithologists - the provincial birding organization.
