At about 12 noon, I spotted 2 White-fronted Geese on a private pond on Morgan's Road, East of Newcastle. A first for me...very exciting in spite of the very wintry weather.
Directions: 401 to Mill Street N., Newcastle. Proceed to 3rd traffic light to #2. Turn East on #2 for 2-3 km to Morgan's Road. Turn North on Morgan's Road and watch for a large private pond about 1-2 km on the right hand side. This is private property but you can see the pond well from the road.
