Greetings! Around 5 pm the Western Grebe was present on the lakeside of the peninsula - then it disappeared into the fog.
Lots of RN Grebes and Horned Grebes - if the Eared Grebe was there is was hiding - not that I am expert. The Red Breasted Mergansers were doing their mating dance. Yesterday I saw a pair of Horned Grebes do theirs - very interesting! Colonel Sam Smith is at the end of Kipling south of Lakeshore Blvd. Exit the Gardiner at Kipling and go south.
