The 1st year male King Eider was seen in the company of a 1st year White-winged 
Scoter in the Oshawa Harbour channel this morning around 8am. Others in the 
channel included a Common Goldeneye, several Common Mergansers and quite a few 
Long-tails.

Directions: exit 401 at Simcoe St. and drive south to the lake and park - walk 
east to the pier and harbour channel.
