I've noticed over the past 2 days that the grosbeaks tend to disappear around 2
p.m. but they are quite active in the morning. This morning, they were so loud
I could hear them inside the house.

So if you are coming up this way to see both the Hawk Owl at Dalrymple and the
Grosbeaks here, it would be better to try for the Grosbeaks first before they
disappear for the day.

I've also got a flock of over 50 redpolls which, despite vigorous wishing
otherwise, all appear to be common.

My address:
1545 Monck Road, Uphill

My house is on the north side just east of the intersection of Victoria Road
and Monck Road in the village of Uphill. Your GPS will likely send you to
Sebright which is actually almost 20 minutes west of where you need to be.
Feel free to use the driveway. Monck Road is a busy highway with very fast
drivers so be very careful when pulling off. As always, please be very aware
of the neighbours as the folks in this area can be a bit tetchy about birders.
