Hello!

While doing the Northumberland CBC yesterday (Saturday) I observed a flock
of 450+ Bohemian Waxwings in Hamilton Township, north of Port Hope. The
flock was splitting and regrouping, flying between the treetops and a farm
field, and feeding on some low shrubs. 215 additional birds were present
between the 5th and 6th Lines nearby, for a total of 665. Quite a
spectacle, and an important add to that winter list!

Happy birding!
Kyle

Directions: From the 401 take the Highway 28/Ontario St. exit and head
north. Turn right (east) on the 5th Line. Continue until the 5th ends and
bends left (north) 90 degrees, becoming Mulder Rd. The main flock was at
that junction.
