On December 5 (Sunday) 47 White-fronted Geese in different flocks departed
between 2:30 and 3:00 PM at the Canard River site in LaSalle, apparently to
feed in the surrounding farmland. The largest flock had 28 birds, the smallest
had 2 birds flying with Canada Geese. The two Snow Geese were present, as well
as one flyby Rough-legged Hawk (dark morph).

LaSalle adjoins the south side of Windsor in Essex County. The following was
given by Paul Pratt who initially posted these geese: The birds were at 9000
Canard Drive which is mid way between Malden Road and County Rd. 8 at the
southern edge of LaSalle.
